Hello family and friends! I am running the London Marathon on 26th April 2015 in aid of The Harry Dubois Gift of Hope Fund, which aims to raise awareness of heart conditions in young people, and to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation, in memory of Harry Dubois, a talented and much-loved teenager who sadly passed away in April 2014 as a result of an undiagnosed heart condition.

Training for the marathon is a daunting challenge and one that both thrills and terrifies me in equal measure! I have a reasonable level of fitness just now but I know the training and lifestyle changes I’ll need to make will be tough. My driving factor will be to raise as much money as I can for Harry's Fund - there’s no better motivation than that, so please dig deep and donate. Thank you so much x

Good luck!! Anyone who runs the London Marathon deserves a big pat on the back so doing it for charity as well means you might get extra Mint Crisp bars on the next trip to Ireland. Hopefully we can support you through this and just think this time 3 months from now it will be done. Not long at all :-) Alex & Jon

I'm expecting you to do the whole thing dressed as Big Bird using only forward rolls. X

Best of luck Christina! We all know you love a challenge and I doubt there's much greater than prepping for a marathon in 3 months! You'll be brilliant and we're all behind you! Well, not literally...I'll be on the sofa watching the race on TV, but you know what I mean! (P.S added the extra 78p as I know how uncomfortable Dad's donation made you lol!) xxx

I don't know Harrys family or friends, only the ripples of utter devastation that follow the death of a beloved child. Our own godson died four months after Harry.I created a lastinghope page as Harry's family did. That's how I came to see Harry's story. We do know about the work the BHF does as both my husband and son have heart conditions. Our son goes to a school up the road to Harry's and knows two of the children who donated last year as they share the bus. Good luck Christina you are a very good friend to Harry's family X

Hi Christina - best of luck with the training and on the big day itself. Decided on a pound per mile (pro-rata for the wee extra bit ??) A worthy cause. Love, Dad xxx
