On Sunday 19th June (Fathers day) James will be joining a small group of cyclists including his Dad and Auntie Sarah on a 60 mile sponsored cycle for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Sarah's dad Wallace Standing.

James is intending to ride for 20 miles from the start at Bathampton along the Kennet & Avon canal as far as Devizes where the route switches to the roads. Depending on his energy levels later in the day he may also join us for the final section from Hungerford to Ball Hill (approximately 7 miles) to get a well earned J2O at The Furze Bush Inn.

We went out for a ride as a birthday treat for mummy! I managed to ride over 20 miles! great practice for the ride in June.

James cycled half the route and really would have liked to have done more. He was an incredible motivator to the rest of the team, especially when enduring the long, laborious climb up Caen Hill
