Maureen (or Mo as she was better known) had been ill for some time and despite the best efforts of the medical professionals, she became too ill and passed away 12th October 2018 surrounded by her family. Although she liked to watch her roses grow in her garden, she was not all that fond of flowers and would see them as a waste of your money. So, as a family, we are asking that for those who are attending her funeral, and for anyone else who would like to, instead of buying flowers, please donate to the British Heart Foundation. The work they do is extremely important and worthwhile and their research would have been an important driver in my Mums medical treatment over the years which allowed her to live a normal life for so long. I'm not setting a fund target for this as the research and work that the British Heart Foundation are involved with does not have an end date. Any donations will be greatly appreciated by the BHF and also by all future patients who require the treatment provided as a result of the research funded by them. Thank you
