I met Natalie by chance three years ago, and at a time in my life when I was a broken man, alone, lost and deeply sad after the death of my mother.

She was a breath of air floating into my life, I thought my mum had sent me an angel to cure, a giver of oxygen a delight that lightened me up and gave me the strength to live and love again. The best way I can describe her is in three words.

TRUTH | LOVE | LIFE

Natalie was honest, kind and caring, she was a single parent looking after 5 young girls that she adored. She was a great character to spend time with loving and generous with a wicked humor.

She wanted a life to live, she wanted to go places, see her friends, go to festivals concerts, she wanted experiences, she had ambition looking to start back to work, travel the world together and live on a farm together!

She had all the ideas, delivered with enthusiasm, said with that gorgeous smile and infectious laugh. Although a bit impatient sometimes! But if you don’t desire and go for it you won’t get it.

The memories I have of our time are at the pinnacle of how I felt about anyone. I thank her for this honor bestowed to me, the fact that I was her man, she could have had any man, younger with more money anything… I know… but for some reason it was me and I am humble and honored. She often told me that she would be with me even if I lived in cardboard box!!

She taught me the simple things in life are easy to do and make the biggest difference, just saying you love or care for someone, buying a small gift or flower or making something for you or sending silly messages or writing stupid things on shopping lists, saying goodnight good morning, we are all busy in this modern life, but we shouldn’t forget the simple honest things that make a human feel wanted and worthwhile. I regret that I didn’t tell her enough how special she was in life.

Natalie aged just 37 died suddenly on 03/04/2022 of a heart attack due to constricted arteries, a tragic loss of someone so young and beautiful. Screening would have saved her, she left 5 young girls a partner and plenty of friends who loved her dearly. She inspired others with her courage in life. A mother, a sister, a daughter, a partner and a dear friend.

The aim is to celebrate Natalie's life by raising awareness through fundraising activities to help the research in this area. Tragedies like this could be averted.
