Dad had a very dry sense of humour, who was determined to live life to the fullest. A very practical man, he was a joiner by trade and worked all over the UK before he retired and became a stay at home father in his 60s!

Barry was the youngest of his siblings, Rory and Karen. He was born in Chester before settling down South first in Enfield and then Hemel Hempstead.Barry grandmother lived in Liverpool where he met Diane his first wife. They married and had two children Gemma and Glen. They divorced in 1989 and he remained close with Diane throughout his life. He married Debbie in 2006 and had two further children Rebekka and Summer-Rose. He spent the last 30 years of his life shop fitting primarily doing River Isalnd taking him across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. In 2020 Summer moved in with him, the first time he had to be a full time day to day parent. He undertook a number of jobs locally to look after her. Trained as a joiner he was forever helping out his family doing odd jobs. A massive Liverpool fan who was a season ticket holder in his early years he was forever watching the football being a Liverpool supporter.Dad had his first heart attack aged 58 and regularly donate to the British Heart Foundation. He succumbed to Heart disease this year at 66 years old leaving behind his 4 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 nieces. His funeral is scheduled for Friday 27th September in Springwood Crematorium, and as his family we are asking for donations in his memory as opposed to flowers.
