Belinda lived a fabulous life. People said so. And for that short time while she was with us - she did. Born Cardiff 1975 to Peter and Valerie, she had two brothers, Daniel and William. She was a Brownie, a failed violinist and a runner.

She went through Welsh-medium education, attending Bryntaf, Bro Eirwg and then Glantaf obtaining one of Cardiff's first Welsh-medium Computer Science A levels. She did Economics at Cardiff, and then a MSc in IT at Nottingham.Emerging as a fully-qualified Cobol programmer with an active interest in bettering the position of women in the male-dominated tech sector she went to work for the Bank of England. From there she moved to the BBC and on to Accenture, Vodafone (which took her to Newbury), Centrica, and then the phone company Three moving last year to become Chief Information Officer for the global software developer IFS.She was stylish and incredibly hard working. Her ultra running took her over immense distances.Belinda married Keith Mizen and in 2010 had a daughter, Scarlett, who became the centre of her existence. The two were indivisible. Scarlett takes Belinda's joy in life and infectious achievements on into a different world.
