On the 29th December 2023 our lives changed forever when our Brother Billy passed away unexpectedly at the age of 38. Only a few days earlier we had all been celebrating Christmas as a family. Billy had been in great spirits, laughing, joking, playing games with his nieces and nephews who all adored him and miss him immensely. There was no indication that Billy was unwell. It was later discovered that Billy had coronary thrombosis which is when a blood clot develops in one of the hearts arteries, cutting off the blood flow to his heart.Billy was the foundation to our family and since his passing life hasn't been the same, he has left a huge void in our hearts. Billy was easy going and had a laid-back nature, he had a real enthusiasm for life, he loved holidays, music festivals, spending time with his friends and family. Billy had a smile that would instantly light up the room, he was loved by everyone he met, he gave time and friendship to each and every person he came into contact with.In memory of my Brother on his birthday this year , I am planning a skydive on the 22nd November. I am hoping to raise funds for The British Heart Foundation to assist with their continued research into heart and circulatory diseases and hopefully give people more time with their loved ones.
