Christopher John Chapman 28.01.1963 - 09.06.2024 Chris was a very fit and active man, who lived a healthy lifestyle. 6.5 years ago, Chris was diagnosed with heart failure as a result of complications from sarcoidosis. In April 2018 he had an implantable cardioverter defibrillator ICD fitted. In June 2018 the ICD saved his life. Thanks to medicinal technology, it meant we were given another 6 years to create many happy memories together. Before Chris passed away, he told us that he would like people to donate to the British Heart Foundation in lieu of flowers. Donations will mean medicine and technology will be further developed to help those with heart issues. Our money could give other people the chance to lead longer, healthier lives, and create more memories with their loved ones.Along with your donation, we would love for you to share any happy or funny stories about Chris, and you can also upload a photo, if you wish. Here is one of our favourites, when Chris completed the Tonbridge Triathlon. Love, Jasmine, Sam, Yasuko and Sera xx
