David was well loved Dad , Grandad and a Husband to his late wife Sheila.
He was a fun loving character who loved a pint in the Falcon Pub in Prudhoe.
He was a gentle giant who had a heart of gold and worshiped his Grandchildren. David loved going for long walks with his two beloved dogs Max and Suzi often walking along the River Tyne in Prudhoe and Wylam.
He loved to meet people on his walks and have a chat. He was a keen sportsman in his younger years and was the best Goalkeeper in Prudhoe. He followed lots of sports but his main interest was football and a keen Aston Villa fan.He found great interest in his Children’s sports when they were younger and also with his Grandchildren going to watch them play football and others in Athletics he often talked about how proud he was of his Grandchildren and took great interest in what they were doing.
