Chris was a hard-working, family man. Ex-Royal Engineer, Chairman of the local branch of the RBL. He would do anything to help anyone.

Chris meant so much to a lot of people. He was very much loved around the village he lived in through all the community work he did to help.In our eyes, he was a hero. So many people looked up to him - he served in the Army for 22 years, he worked hard for his family, he was an avid Liverpool supporter, he enjoyed doing projects on his house (through instructions from his wife!). The list goes on.But when it comes down to it, we've lost someone dear to us and a hole has ripped through our world and our hearts. We will miss him everyday and every holiday, every achievement, every milestone. But, he will always remain part of us, looking over us.Chris was and still is a much loved husband, dad, grandad, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law and local hero.Sleep peacefully.
