In loving memory of a kind, caring and generous man. A much loved father, husband, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a perfect gentleman.

On Friday 21st June 2024 dad passed away peacefully in his own home. He had lived in Toddington all his life and was proud to be a Toddingtonian!
Dad had several hobbies including gardening and music and was the chapel organist at both the Methodist and Baptist chapels. He was also a volunteer organist at the local hospital. In his latter years he was unable to continue to pursue these passions which he found difficult to accept. Nothing however pleased dad more than to be with family and friends. He always looked forward to visits and talked constantly about his 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Sadly mum died in 2022 which dad found difficult to cope with. They had enjoyed 73 years of married life together.
Dad, for most of his life was very active but due to heart failure his strength and mobility deteriorated until he was completely bedridden in the last few weeks of life. He remained cheerful and often talked about "making it to 100". Sadly this was not to be and dad passed away at the age of 99 years 6 months.
Dad bore his illness bravely. Please give generously to the British Heart Foundation in his memory. Thank you.
