Michael was diagnosed with Heart failure and was fitted with a defibrillator about 10 years ago. He continued to enjoy life but his breathing was a constant struggle. He loved going to watch Nottingham Forest at the City Ground as this was his passion. Unfortunately in the last couple of years this became increasingly difficult but he persevered with the help of me (his wife) and his scooter.
Michael took ill in November and spent the whole of December and Christmas in hospital. We finally got him home, but unfortunately despite his humour and love for life he never really recovered, and we lost him on April 5th
