The most amazing lady and the best Mother & Grandmother there ever was.

As you all know, Just over a month ago on the 25th July 2024, we lost our wonderful Mother, Grandmother & Mother-in-Law, Nora.

She had a long and happy life. She was a fantastic mother to Julie & Christine and a wonderful Grandma to Lucy, Olivia, Alexander & Arabella. She leaves behind so many treasured memories with us all.

We already miss her so much, we absolutely loved having her around and it feels incredibly strange not knowing that she's just upstairs watching her favourite programmes. It feels incredibly strange not being able to go in for a cup of tea and a gossip, or listen to her tell her stories of going dancing at the Empress Ballroom or making dresses for the Rose Queens.

She would have done absolutely anything for any of us, if we ever needed anything, all we had to do was ask and the answer was always yes. She is one of the greatest people we have ever known. She was true Wigan girl, tough as old boots and could handle whatever life threw at her.

You may or may not be aware but Grandma suffered from Heart Failure for the last number of years. We wanted to make this page as a place to make donations in her name, to this charity and all the fantastic work they do.
