Pete died peacefully at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital on 8 April 2024. He had been diagnosed with heart disease the previous year. Pete's funeral will be held on Friday, 3 May 2024, at 4.30pm, at St Peter's Chapel, Exeter and Devon Crematorium, Topsham Rd, Exeter EX2 6EU. There will be a humanist service, at which family, friends and anyone who knew Pete, will be most welcome.

Over six million of us are living with cardiovascular disease. Let's remember Pete, and all our loved ones by doing all that we can to beat this disease. In lieu of sending flowers, Pete's family request that family, friends donate to the British Heart Foundation. Please donate what you can. Every penny counts.
