A colourful character with a kind heart and a relentless pursual of happiness.

Father of two, grandfather of two, and uncle of two. He was creative, inventive, skilled, and humorous, in the most awful dad-joke way. His pursuit of happiness led him to many jobs, many women, many cars, and many parts of the country. He settled in South Wales some 30 plus years ago, where he made great friends with work colleagues, and fellow AA members. His latter years were spent living in Pontardawe, with his home facing a field containing "Boris the bull", with whom he enjoyed a (potentially one way) friendship with. Dad was good at building things, often in inventive ways - he was the King of Modifications ("bodge jobs"!) and could make anything work for his needs. When he was 18, our dad lost his father to heart failure. He was always worried that he would follow the same fate. Sadly, he did, although he lived for 20 years more than our grandfather, despite some hedonistic living. Our lives have also been impacted by heart failure on our mother's side, so it's especially important to us that we encourage research by way of donations, to help prevent us from losing loved ones from the familial fate.
